Dr. Lisa Sundvall Merilson, Psy.D.

Dr. Julie Parker, Psy.D.

Dr. Merilson is owner and director of Volusia Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health. She completed her doctorate degree at Miami Institute of Psychology in 2002 with internship at the Miami VA Medical Center and residency at the New Orleans VA Medical Center. She has been practicing neuropsychology for 20 years and holds affiliate credentials at Advent Health New Smyrna.  Dr. Merilson specializes in neuropsychological consultation services for adult and geriatric patients. She is also an FAA HIMS Neuropsychologist and a tailwheel pilot. 

Dr. Ginger Rennie, Psy.D.

Dr. Rennie received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2015. During an internship at a Central Florida Department of Juvenile Justice residential facility she received comprehensive training in psychotherapy and psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for adolescents with developmental disabilities. Dr. Rennie received additional training experience in Washington, D.C. and Virginia where she worked with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with traumatic brain injuries. She currently provides psychotherapy for youth and adults, utilizing an integrative and collaborative approach to address a broad range of social, behavioral, emotional, and psychological issues. In addition to work, Dr. Rennie is acquiring Animal Assisted Therapy Interventionist (AAT-I) certification to enhance her therapeutic services.                                                                                      

Dr. Parker is a clinical psychologist and practice manager who has been with VNBH since 2008. She obtained her doctorate degree from Florida Institute of Technology  in 2005 after completing her internship with Rappahannock Area Community Services Board in Fredericksburg, VA where she focused on adult psychotherapy, psychological testing, and a rotation in forensic evaluations. At VNBH she specializes in adult psychotherapy and disability compensation and pension evaluations for our Veterans. 

Dr. Michael Meth, Psy.D.

Dr. Meth obtained his Psy.D from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and completed his internship at the Broward Sheriff’s Office. He specializes in adult psychotherapy, substance abuse, and breaking addictive behavioral cycles. Dr. Meth also performs psychological evaluation for the Florida Department of Health Office of Disability Determinations.
