Dr. Lisa Sundvall Merilson, Psy.D.

Dr. Merilson is owner and director of Volusia Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health. She completed her doctorate degree at Miami Institute of Psychology in 2002 with internship at the Miami VA Medical Center and residency at the New Orleans VA Medical Center. Dr. Merilson has been practicing neuropsychology for 15 years and holds associate credentials at Advent Health New Smyrna.  Dr. Merilson specializes in neuropsychological consultation services for adult and geriatric patients. When not involved in clinical activity, Dr. Merilson enjoys the Florida lifestyle boating and offshore fishing. 

Dr. Julie Parker, Psy.D.

Dr. Parker is a clinical psychologist who has been with VNBH for over 10 years. She obtained her doctorate degree from Florida Institute of Technology  in 2005. Dr. Parker has been with Volusia Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health since 2008 and specializes in adult psychotherapy and psychological evaluations.  

Dr. Christine Bailey, Ph.D.

Dr. Bailey obtained her Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and completed her internship at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA.   Dr. Bailey is board certified in clinical neuropsychology and specializes in forensic neuropsychology. She offers neuropsychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. 

Dr. Bailey also serves as an officer in the Florida Army National Guard. 

       Dr. Alexa Barnett, Psy.D.

Dr. Barnett is a clinical psychologist. She obtained her doctorate degree from Florida Institute of Technology in 2018 with a concentration in behavioral Health. She completed her internship and postdoctoral residency at Florida State Hospital. Dr. Barnett specializes in a variety of psychological evaluations for pediatric and adult populations including intellectual assessments and disability evaluations. Outside of the office, Dr. Barnett enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family and two dogs.

Sharon Crane, LMHC

Sharon Crane is a clinical Licensed Mental Health Therapist. She obtained her Master's degree from Stetson University in 2013. She specializes in counseling with adults and adolescents. When not working, she enjoys traveling and being at the beach.
