WHAT IS A NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST?
A Neuropsychologist is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in brain-behavior relationships. A neuropsychologist is educated in brain anatomy, brain function, and brain injury and disease. Neuropsychologists work closely with physicians and neurologists in the assessment of a patient's brain function. Identifying a patient's status is important in assisting with clinical management as well as monitoring treatment response and progression.
